In wretched conditions the Lionesses equipped themselves superbly against robust opponents Chichester. The team failed to switch on early in the game and found themselves 1-0 down after only 5 minutes. However with great lead runs from Calista Morris and the tenacity of Francesca Arlett the away side built a 2-1 lead mid way through the second half. As the rain continued to pore the home side managed to get an equalizer in the last 10 minutes. Debutants Isabel Inglis and Francis Osman Allu performed well in their first game for the Lionesses – but this was a great team effort and all the girls should be congratulated for a well earned point.
